Members of the Council for Study Affairs
Academic staff
I enjoy thinking about how to teach students to think in a high-quality and comprehensive way, how to communicate even complex ideas clearly and in a practical manner, and more generally, how to continuously modernize the curriculum. I care deeply about improving the efficiency of study processes and communication between staff and students. I can also contribute to this thanks to my role as the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, which acts as a bridge between different parts of the academic environment.
In the last term of the Council for Study Affairs, I served as its chair. Although I had not originally planned to run again, I would like to try once more to build on the goals we have already achieved and to focus more on the issues that remain open.
Alongside this role, I am also involved in teaching. I am responsible for some forms of the courses Study Essentials and Bachelor’s and Diploma Thesis Seminar, which allows me to stay in regular contact with students from their very first semester at our university. Since 2023, I have also been a member of the Council for Study Affairs, where I have the opportunity to participate in discussions about the structure of of studies and study processes at our university.
For my colleagues, I regularly update and expand the lecturers’ guidelines and organise informational webinars. My colleagues know that they can always turn to me with their questions, problems, or feedback, and I always try to do my best to ensure that everyone at my department is satisfied.
