AI PRINCIPLES


At our school, it's not just about learning how to use AI – it's about truly understanding it.
That's why we guide students toward a deeper understanding of how AI works, why it behaves in certain ways, and when to use which method. We don’t just teach the technology – we also focus on critical thinking and making the right decisions when working with AI. Through hands-on projects, real-world scenarios, and the latest industry insights, we prepare students not only to use AI effectively, but also to advance it and drive innovation.
CUTTING-EDGE AI TECHNOLOGIES


At our school, you’ll work with cutting-edge AI technologies that are shaping the world! We use PyTorch and TensorFlow for deep learning, and integrate models using MLflow. For advanced NLP applications, we leverage Hugging Face and combine them with AutoGen. We experiment with AutoGPT and LangChain to build autonomous AI applications. With access to OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude, Cohere, and other leading LLM providers, students learn how to integrate language models directly into applications, build their own assistants, and automate real-world workflows. CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES


Cloud is a key enabler of modern AI – that’s why our students start working with it from day one.
We use platforms like AWS SageMaker and Azure AI, where students train models on powerful cloud servers, deploy AI into real-world scenarios, and work with scalable data platforms.
Thanks to the cloud, they gain hands-on experience with large-scale models, distributed computing, and real AI applications running on the same infrastructure used by the world’s leading tech companies.

AI PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION


Theory is important, but practice makes an expert – that’s why our students engage with AI hands-on from day one. Throughout their studies, they work on real AI projects, learning not only how to develop AI applications, but also how to manage the entire process – from initial analysis to deployment and optimization. They gain experience in team collaboration, integrating AI into business systems, and tackling specific AI challenges such as data handling, model interpretability, and performance scaling. Whether they aim to build their own AI products or lead innovative projects in companies, our students graduate with practical skills and the confidence to succeed.

Unique study materials

We provide interactive online books and courses to make studying more effective. In a well-organized way the books explain the subjects that are taught during the lectures. The course work is supplemented by special programming tasks and exercises. In each course you will validate what you have learned through interactive lessons that include knowledge cards and test questions.

Modern Teaching Methods
During your studies, you’ll tackle a variety of complex, hands-on challenges through seminars, projects, and multi-day hackathons.

Practice
As part of the program, students are required to complete a six-month internship, supported by our partner companies and institutions.
This opens the door to opportunities at Unicorn and its partner organizations.
Thanks to this experience, you’ll gain valuable real-world skills – and you won’t graduate with an empty résumé!

Optional courses

According to the study plan, students enroll in an optional course for 9 credits in the third semester of study and an optional course for 6 credits in the sixth semester of study. The study plan is only recommended and optional courses can be enrolled at any time during the study. It is necessary to observe the condition that for optional courses the student must obtain 15 credits in total. It is also possible to enroll in more optional courses for more credits. The maximum number is not specified. Not all courses listed are offered in each semester. Students are informed in advance about the courses that will be offered for the given semester in advance through news. If only a small number of students enroll in a course, it may be cancelled in exceptional cases.

As a compulsory-optional subject studied in addition to the number of compulsory-optional subjects in the recommended study plan may also be recognized as an optional subject.

Where Can a Career in AI Take You?

Thanks to the Artificial Intelligence study program, you can become an AI designer, data scientist, AI model developer, or intelligent solutions tester. You'll find opportunities in designing and developing AI-powered systems in fields such as automotive, industrial automation, finance, and also in rapidly growing areas like marketing, HR, or business.

AI-related positions are among the fastest-growing and most in-demand on the job market. In the coming years, artificial intelligence will significantly impact the majority of professions – and this program will give you a head start to thrive in this changing landscape.

Final State Examination

The Bachelor’s degree program in Artificial Intelligence is completed with a state final examination. Upon successfully passing the final exam, the student is awarded the academic title Bachelor (Bc.), which they are entitled to use.

The student must pass three state final exams:
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Mathematics for Artificial Intelligence
  • Data Science
The Artificial Intelligence exam consists of 7 thematic areas. The student answers 7 selected questions from these topics.

The state final examination can only be taken after completing specific courses that form the content of the exam. The fulfillment of all study requirements is defined by the study plan.

After completing the Bachelor’s program in Artificial Intelligence, you can seamlessly continue your studies in one of our follow-up Master’s programs:

Software Engineering and Big Data (Ing.) – deepen your knowledge in software system design, development, and implementation, while gaining essential skills in data analytics.
Applied Economics and Data Analysis (Ing.) – combine the world of data with economic thinking and prepare for analytical and strategic roles in companies and institutions.
