About Martin
Martin Macík studied the Business Management programme in its regular form. His bachelor thesis discussed UK Economy in 2007-09. Martin is a professional Dakar pilot, with his own marketing business, who likes to hold events for his fans. His pet projects include, among others, MM Production, MM Photography, and the talk show Posedlí Dakarem. (Smitten with Dakar).
Why Unicorn University
,,I decided to study at Unicorn University for one simple reason. I still remember it: Leaving the grammar school in Sedlčany after 8 years of study, I was looking for a university to continue my studies. I went to Australia, spent a year there, working and studying English. And I met a guy down there, who told me that he studied or had studied, I am not really sure, at Unicorn University, and praised it to high heaven. I looked it up on the Internet, and I really liked it, so I went to Unicorn University.”
Workshops and Hackatons
,,What we learned there made my later work much easier, as I completed an internship during my studies where we had to deal with all this real stuff. There were actual workshops, where we handled issues of actual businesses. Lectures were given by people working in actual companies, not just some teachers or professors.”

,,I was quite happy with Unicorn University. The school taught me what I know today, which means, I would not be where I am today without this school, this is a given. And I recommend this option to all of you who’d like to work in any field you can study there. I went for economics and management, but when it comes to IT and its links to Unicorn, I think this is the perfect choice.”
