About the course

The Micro-Credential focuses on the practical development of a modern full-stack web application using Express.js (backend), React (frontend), and MongoDB for data management. Participants will learn to design APIs, manage data, build user interfaces, handle user authentication and authorization, and deploy the entire application to the cloud.

The course emphasizes hands-on skills — participants will go through the complete development cycle of a web application and, by the end, will be able to independently develop and publish a fully functional web application.

After completing the course, participants will understand the architecture of modern full-stack web applications and will be able to design and implement REST APIs using Express.js. They will learn to work with databases in MongoDB and create data models, ensure secure user authentication and authorization, and build connected user interfaces in React. The course provides practical experience with the entire development process — from design and implementation to cloud deployment — preparing participants to independently create and publish a fully functional web application.
