About František
František Raszyk studied Software Development, using the combined study option. His bachelor thesis dealt with the Analysis of Differences in Functioning of Geographically Distributed Teams in 2019 and 2020.
Why Unicorn University
I’ve been interested in this school since when I still lived in Ostrava. Once I came to Prague to work, I’ve decided to give it a chance. I’d worked in IT for several years and I knew I needed a school to combine study, business, and practice. With the combined study mode, I was able to both work and study. During the examination period, the faculty went out of their way to provide session dates after our usual office hours or at weekends.
Workshops and Hackatons
There were workshops and semester-long projects, with students working in teams under the supervision of experts, developing strategic plans and marketing strategies, or designing information systems. František really liked them: ,,The workshops I appreciated most were those dealing with the areas I had not been familiar with. That was an important thing I expected from the university: to broaden my existing knowledge and further hone my skills.”
