Unicorn University Open this time on the topic of electromobility

The 10th anniversary edition of the online conference Unicorn University Open, this time entitled "Electromobility: The Future Is Now", took place on 24 November. This conference offered a look at electromobility from different perspectives, thanks to presentations by top experts from both the Czech Republic and abroad. Leading figures from Oslo, Norway and Gothenburg, Sweden shared their experiences as global leaders in the field of electromobility.

The owner of Unicorn, Vladimír Kovář, stressed the importance of education and opening the conference to the media and the public. Daniel Ševčík, CEO of Charge Up and moderator of the conference, said that the goal is not just to promote electromobility, but rather to offer different perspectives in a broader context.

Wulf Schlachter, owner of DXBe Management, highlighted the increase in sales of electric vehicles, especially those of Chinese manufacture, and the importance of building charging infrastructure. Arjan van der Eijk of E.ON Drive Infrastructure spoke about the challenges in rapidly expanding infrastructure due to lack of hardware as well as complex bureaucracy and legislation in different countries.

Oslo was presented as a leading city in the EV trend, while ChargeUp contributed its software to Gothenburg with similar goals.
The conference saw over 2,200 attendees from Europe and had keynote speakers including Zdenek Petzl from AutoSAP and Lukas Kovanda from Trinity Bank. The next Open Conference is planned for next spring.
