Plastic (yellow bin): bottles, cups, food packaging and other plasticitems belong in the container marked for plastic waste.

Glass: Glass bottles and jars can be recycled. It is important to avoid putting glass in your regular trash because it is a material that can be recycled and reused.

Paper and cardboard (blue bin): Newspapers, magazines, paper wrappers, egg tray and boxes should be placed in the bin designated for paper waste. Metal packaging: Cans, tins, aluminium packaging, etc. belong in the metal waste container.

Biodegradable waste (brown bin): Food scraps, plant waste and other organic materials can be composted and used to create nutrients for plants.

Mixed waste (black bin): the mixed waste bin contains all rubbish that cannot be recycled or composted and is destined for disposal.

• Used paper napkins and paper food wrappers.
• Plastic bags and packaging that cannot be recycled.
• Hygiene waste such as used pads, tampons, or diapers.
• Other plastic items that cannot be recycled, such as toothbrushes, combs, etc.
• Other materials that cannot be placed in separate waste containers, such as metal objects, glass shards, ceramics, etc.
• Food packaging and food wrappers that cannot be recycled (e.g. chip wrappers, candy wrappers, etc.) unless they are clean and can be washed.
• Other rubbish that cannot be placed in separate waste or compost bins, such as small pieces of textiles, plastic toys, rubber items, etc.
