Comp&Ben Association! (CBA!) has launched with the aim of becoming the leading platform in the field of remuneration, bridging the commercial and academic worlds. Professor Jan Čadil, Rector of Unicorn College, is one of the founding members and Vice President for University Engagement. The association will provide up-to-date and accurate information on remuneration, represent the interests of companies and work with the state to develop regulations on remuneration transparency. The CBA plans to expand its membership to 250 by the end of the year.
"However, data from major employers do not support discrimination against women. There are completely different reasons behind the gender pay gap than wage discrimination. The result is regulation that not only fails to address the problem, but exacerbates it. We want to become a partner that provides regulators not only with relevant data but also with methodology," says Professor Jan Čadil, Vice President of the Association and also an economist and Rector of Unicorn College. One of the Association's topics will therefore be to work on a detailed study on the gender pay gap in the private sector.
