The Bachelor Thesis Seminar divides into two parts – the first part comes in 6th semester and the second comes in 7th semester. The course aims at acquainting students with the requirements, methods and resources necessary for the project of a bachelor thesis by means of systematic continuous work, consultations and a workshop. The course draws on students’ knowledge from the Introduction to Study course and enhances it. The main part of the workload lies in the student’s individual work on the bachelor thesis (in the extent of about 240 hours). The first seminar in 6th semester focuses on providing significant and enhancing information on the methods of processing final theses, including the research of relevant resources, data collecting, correct citation, typographic rules, the experience of thesis supervisors and opponents. The course emphasizes both the factual and formal output of a bachelor thesis. The final project of the bachelor thesis includes mainly a particularized title of the thesis, the goal of the work, the thesis outline based on component goals of individual chapters, the research of literature and information resources suitable for compiling the bachelor thesis.
